6th Annual Renata Wadsworth Pottery Holiday Studio Sale

Two things we love giving our money to: local artisans and grassroots initiatives that strengthen our community.  So we have a feeling our wallets will be a bit lighter this weekend, after the 6th Annual Renata Wadsworth Pottery Holiday Studio Sale (call it the ARWPHSS, for short).  Not only will there be gorgeous handmade pottery on sale (30-70% off!), but 10% of the proceeds will go to support Healthy Food For All, the farmer-driven initiative to make fresh local produce available to lower-income families that we were proud to feature in our Fall 2012 issue.

The sale is held twice: Wednesday Dec. 12th from 5-8pm and Saturday Dec. 15 from 11-2pm (and those who run the sale promise that they will reserve some pieces for Saturday).  So head out to The Studio at 379 Gunderman Road in Danby and give yourself that warm holiday feeling of doing good…while also crossing items off your gift shopping list!  Potters call this “firing two pots in one kiln.”*
